This unit allows engineers to carry a compact “live working capsule”, but without the worry of airline battery restrictions (HAZ Goods), small enough to fit inside an engineer tool bag and can be configured to be a float-free capsule or Fixed Hardened capsule.

Float Free Recoverable Capsule – 64GB

The AMI Capsule is a Cospas-Sarsat and MED approved float free capsule which combines an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) Also a 64GB float-free storage medium to meet the MSC.333(90) and IEC 61996-1 Ed 2.0 VDR regulations.

The AMI Capsule has been designed in accordance with and therefore complies with the MSC 333(90), IEC61097-2 and IEC61992-1 Ed.2.0 performance standards.

Fixed X999-N Recoverable Capsule – 64 GB

The AMI Marine fixed capsule combines high mechanical security with simple operation. The equipment is designed with reliability and durability and is of excellent build quality.

The Ethernet interface connects the VDR, also with a 64GB internal memory for a minimum of 48 hours data for recovery.
