Every aspect of the system has been designed to minimise costs and inconvenience for the shipowner. From the use of a simple 2-wire connection cable. And also to the functional design of the central distribution unit. Therefore, it allows for easy and trouble-free installation by the ship’s crew. The comprehensive installation manual provides for simple setup and commissioning.
An integrated ‘Duty Officer Selection’ function allows any combination of 5 cabins to receive the 2nd stage alert. Also, the X150-D Display Console shows the current BNWAS status. Including on/off status, countdown timer, alarm status, selected cabins, active reset devices, and system faults.
Internal or external mounting (on bridge wings) is available for reset buttons and alarms. Additionally, the volume of the alarms can be adjusted. For use in different areas such as passageways or ship’s offices. Where approved by Class, motion sensors may also be used on the bridge for more convenient timer resetting.
Also, see our BNWAS range.
