The X-MDR is a mini data recorder designed for smaller vessels.
The CCTV function allows you to review real-time data in the event of an incident.
Who needs it?
The X-MDR is for use on vessels under 3000GRT that do not require a VDR or S-VDR. It is also really popular with office-based port authorities.
What can it record?
The X-MDR records CCTV, VHF and bridge audio data. It can also capture images from Radar, ECDIS, Chart Plotters etc.
NMEA and AIS data can also be captured and stored.
How does it look?
It has a full-colour capacitive touchscreen showing live data. The X-MDR is user-friendly and intuitive. As a bonus, the CCTV video feeds in real-time.
