Manta NEO Solid State – upmast X-band radar system
SKU: HEN-0011
The Kelvin Hughes Manta NEO solid state X band radar ensures exceptionally high reliability and low through-life costs as there is no magnetron to be replaced. Furthermore, solid-state technology enables superior detection performance, especially in poor weather conditions where traditional radar technology can make target detection difficult.
Capabilities
- Commercial retrofit and new buildings
- Operates on an integrated display, incorporating cutting-edge software functionality
- Compatible with the Kelvin Hughes ECDIS display and bridge system
- Intuitive key tooltips, common dialogue, and controls throughout the system allow all operators to focus on critical navigation tasks without distraction
Features
- Solid-state technology for improved efficiency and rapid start-up
- Narrow horizontal beam widths for enhanced target separation
- Beam Sharpening to further improve target separation
- Pulse compression for improved target range resolution and reduced background noise
- ARPA for target tracking and collision avoidance
